H1 is the most important tag on your Search Engine Optimization deck. You should add it only once per page, so use it wisely.
Wrap your title in [H1] and don’t forget to have your main keyword on it.
4. Secondary keywords on the first 100 words
Besides choosing your main keyword you should also consider some secondary keywords to help your rank.
A good trick is to add them in the beginning of the post, like a resume / introduction to what you are about to present, but be careful not to fall in Keyword stuffing.
5. Add the Secondary keywords to your subtitles.
To give more credit to the secondary keywords make sure to include them in your subtitles.
Breaking the text will make it more attractive to the reader and the website crawlers.
Also all the subtitles should be wrapped in H2 tags and subsequently H3 tags for points inside the subtitles.
Note: You can also give H4, H5 tags and so on, but that will only count to organize your reasoning as search engine bots don’t give much credit to them.
6. Add at least 2 outbound links (Preferably with higher rank than yours)

The downside is that if the content is not captivating at the beginning the reader will bounce fast.
Anyway, if you feel confident that you can catch your reader fast, you can go on the long post approach but first, read the 5th point once again 😉
